A Public Health Approach to Sensory Health & Aging: A Sense Network Short Course for Clinicians and Researchers.
This is a free, online self-paced course that provides a foundational overview of sensory health and aging to clinicians, researchers and learners who are interested in this growing field
There is strong scientific premise that individual sensory losses are important risk factors and markers of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD), as well as contributors to wellbeing in later life. Developed through the SENSE Network, a National Institute on Aging–funded initiative, this course introduces the role of sensory health in aging and presents public health applications to sensory interventions and policy.
Course content is delivered through a mix of lecture and podcast materials.
